The harvest process already began in several coffee regions.
Right now it is in its full phase in early maturing areas: Turrialba, Coto Brus and Perez Zeledon.
Regarding to Coto Brus and Perez Zeledon, the optimum is between October and November; in the Central and West Valley, between December and January, and in the Los Santos area, between January and February.
This year coffee yield is expected to be around 2,034,516 units of 400 liters (or bushels).
